Wireless Intercom System

The wireless intercom is a step up for intercom technology, because a wireless intercom system doesn’t need wires to be able to function. Your wireless intercom system will also facilitate internal communication through calls sent over wireless-communication radio frequencies (most of the time.) You can still make an unlimited number of calls, and new users can be added to the network members quite easily without extra charge. You can think of calls made on a wireless intercom system to be very similar to how a cell phone mobile device works (though unlimited calls are allowed on the wireless intercom system without incurring additional charges.) You can easily set up a wireless intercom system and even deploy it in much bigger geographical locations, compared to the limited scope of wired intercom systems.

Wireless Intercoms Systems The home intercom system is an addition to the intercom system world that is generally installed in building apartments. It allows apartment residents to ask who is visiting them before the guard at the entrance of the building allows would-be visitors to enter. This security system allows building residents to gain additional home security because their home intercom system permits them to ask about visitor identities before the visitors have a chance to even set foot within the building.

Spy Cameras - Keep eye on intruders

Airports, banks, military bases and casinos are among the spots where spy cameras are often used to great effect. Spy cameras in the United Kingdom and the United States are installed in public transportation systems to monitor any attempted terrorism. In these places, the cameras have been designed to blend in with their surroundings and are therefore not easily noticed by the public.

Spy Cameras Specialized security systems have been created for particular uses including “nanny” cameras, wearable spy cameras and pinhole cameras. Even though these instruments were originally intended to provide safety and security, they can sometimes be used for illegal activities like blackmail or prostitution. Legal questions have arisen concerning the need to balance public security versus privacy rights. Anyone planning to install a spy camera should therefore consult with an attorney before doing so.

As technology has advanced, security cameras have changed through the years. Big cameras have become history and even the smallest cameras of today have good optical resolution. Data is now being saved digitally and can be displayed in a location far from the actual camera. Although spy cameras can be expensive, they can be a good investment that will protect valuable assets in a home or work place. When purchasing such a device, the customer should work only with reputable companies who are noted for producing high quality equipment at fair prices.

Access Control – Introduction to Access Control - Part II

Some access control systems use readers that are called Proximity and Long Range. These state of the art devices read the encoded card without swiping it. The Long range reader can even read a card from over 1 meter away.
The reader called Smartcard also processes more information for the company. This access control system records the time the employee enters the building and leaves the facility. It is interfaced with the different departments within the company such as the parking, payroll and the catering services. It allows all of those departments to keep accurate information for those employed with the company.
Another feature of major importance is the Biometric Reader that reads fingerprints and eye scans to identify any person who gains access to specific areas within the building. The system is very accurate and does not have unforeseen problems such as lost or stolen Identification cards.
Access Control System The access control system also alerts the administration of the entry of visitors and non employees by way of a door bell system that lets the staff know to expect them and an intercoms system so that you can talk to the visitor. It may also contain security cameras so that you can visually identify the person. If the access is permitted, you can provide and escort to lead the visitor through the building, or you can give those visitors identification that only allows access to certain area’s of the building.
The design and installation of the access control system depends on the number of entrances, the location of those entrances and the security levels you will need. Other concerns include the flow of traffic as well as the fire code restrictions. Finally, you will only want to by the equipment, from the companies that have the approval of the NSI.
