How Does DVR Surveillance Work?
In basic terms, the DVR security system is a computer which saves any recordings to its hard drive. Analog images are converted from the security camera into digital, and these are then compressed by the security DVR. DVR surveillance allows the adding of a large number of cameras, and any images can either be viewed together or separately before being saved on the hard drive.

Is DVR Surveillance Hard to Install?
No. DVR surveillance is installed simply by plugging the security cameras into the back of the DVR security system.

Remote Viewing with DVR Security Systems?
Yes. To view any DVR surveillance from another location, you need to log in from your computer, where you will be able to view real-time images with the aid of a webcam. Image quality will depend on the strength of the connection.

How Many Systems Can View DVR Surveillance Remotely?
DVR security systems allow 50 remote connections at any given time. Only one connection is allowed if using dial-up, due to limitations placed on the line.

Multiple line security is better for your homes

Making your home security in a single line will make easy for intruders to breach it. But if you make it with multiple lines it will be difficult to break in. This type of security will also alert you and your neighbors that someone is trying to perform burglary in your house. Always keep your security systems up to date and in good working condition, this will help you to be secured and safe.

For example if you are using only a security door to protect your house, then its not sufficient, because if it is breached then there is nothing next to stop that burglar. On the other hand, if you are using multiple security systems like security cameras and motion detectors along with heavy security doors and locks then it become much more difficult for burglars to breach it.

That's why it is preferred to use multiple line security instead of using a single one.
